Small Business Saturday Nov. 28-Dec. 12 In Georgetown

GEORGETOWN, D.C. — Starting Nov. 28 through Dec. 12, Georgetown shoppers can enjoy special promotions, gifts with purchases, raffles and more during Small Business Saturday. More than 300 small businesses are located in Georgetown, comprising 60 percent of the commercial district’s restaurants and retailers, according to the Georgetown Business Improvement District. The two-week promotion features the following businesses with more coming on board each day:
+ Calloway Fine Art and Consulting (1643 Wisconsin Ave NW) – Small Art to Make a Big Impression! Calloway Fine Art has a large selection of antique and contemporary artworks that can brighten any holiday season. Shop original artworks online or at the gallery to find the perfect gift. If you can’t decide, you can always give a CFAC gift card instead! Share the gift of art and beauty.
+ Escape Room Live (3345 M St NW) – With every Escape Room Live reservation made during Shop Small Georgetown, you’ll receive a complimentary beer or wine drink with the code “GBID25.”
+ Jewelers’Werk Galerie (3319 Cady’s Alley) – Jewelers’Werk presents in the company of silence, an exhibition of new work by artist jeweler Lydia Martin. This show comprises necklaces, brooches, rings, and earrings, all hand-fabricated using hollow construction techniques and a hydraulic press to help create the surface depressions and defined edges. Pieces can be be viewed and purchased in person at the gallery or virtually.

Shoppers also can cast their vote for the Georgetown Holiday Window & Streatery Competition, which runs the entire month of December. This year’s theme is “Silver Linings,” as businesses find festive, playful and creative ways to express the hope and positivity they’ve found in the midst of a challenging year.
