The Central Florida Zoo in Sanford will get hundreds of thousands of dollars from Seminole County to help offset losses sustained amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The Seminole County Board of Commissioners on Tuesday approved $300,000 for the Central Florida Zoo and Botanical Gardens.

The zoo has lost revenue as attendance dropped amid the coronavirus pandemic.
The zoo was closed for about two months, and reopened in May new coronavirus restrictions in place.
